From a daily city commuter to a weekend traveler – the 2021 CB500X is ready for anything. 2021. The model’s style is much sharper – it has a more vivid adventure look reminiscent of the Africa Twin, complemented by longer suspension travel, a high-spec single-tube shock absorber, improved rider ergonomics, and a 19-inch front wheel.
And while the CB500X engine maintains the 35 kW peak power required for A2 license holders, it now delivers 4% more power and torque between 3,000-7,000 rpm, thanks to improvements in intake, exhaust, and valve timing. The new dual-exit muffler has an improved exhaust note, and the engine now also features an assist/slipper clutch.
New LCD instruments include gear position and upshift indicators, and the indicators feature LED bulbs to match the rest of the lighting.
* The Honda CB500X complies with the 35 kW maximum power legislation for the EU A2 category driver’s license, which came into effect in January 2013.
